Where to Stay in Williamsburg

The Hoxton, located on Wythe Avenue, blends in with the vibe of this hip neighborhood. Fireplaces are placed throughout the hotel, creating a luxuriously, cozy feel.

The William Vale is eye-catching, to say the least. This hotel boasts a unique design, and it towers above the other buildings in the area. The rooms here are modern, and some balconies let you have a great view of the City.

Great Williamsburg Restaurants

If you are in the mood for Italian food, Barano is a great option. With choices like wood-fired pizzas, pasta, and a large cocktail menu, there is something for everyone.

For a taste of the South, try Pies-N-Thighs. This restaurant opened in 2006 under the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge as a tiny kitchen with 6 stools. Now, they’ve been given the title of having the best apple pie, fried chicken, donuts, and biscuits by various news sources.

Concord Hill offers many options with various takes on American food. Popular items include brioche French toast and roasted chicken with Japanese sweet potatoes.

Things to Do in Williamsburg

When visiting Williamsburg, a trip to Domino Park is essential. Located on the old Domino Sugar Refinery site, this park is great for families with children. There is a large playground and two water features to cool off at the end of a busy day.

There are lots of options for shopping while in this area. Concrete & Water is a boutique, featuring clothing for men and women.

Williamsburg also has a great nightlife scene. Try The Knitting Factory, an NYC favorite for decades. Live shows and comedy acts grace the stage nightly.

Williamsburg Hidden Gems

Check out Artist and Fleas, open only on the weekends. Boasting more than 45 vendors, this market is perfect for picking up a souvenir or gift for an art-loving friend. Craft makers and designers display their wares for sale each Saturday and Sunday.

For a delicious meal, try Antica Pesa. This Roman restaurant has been owned and operated by the Panella family since 1922. The restaurant uses traditional family recipes, and they partner with local small businesses to obtain their organic produce and ingredients.
